We hope that this vote of confidence in their ability and investment in their future inspires them to never give up. We are not always born with the life we want, but with hard work and deep faith we can create a life we can live with forever. All donations collected for the scholarship go directly to the scholarship recipients.
 

The vision for the community youth center is to provide deserving youth of Limestone County and the City of Athens with an oasis of resources to help them set goals and realize dreams that at first glance seem impossible. The community youth center will offer services in the following areas—Mentoring, Technology, GED Preparation, SAT/ACT Preparation, Tutoring, Drama, Foreign Language, After School, Exit Exam, Summer Camp and Entrepreneurship. We hope that these services will help our youth grow into contributing members of society while increasing their capacity for personal success. Again, a holistic approach for complete success will produce a fruitful and productive output.

MTM believes that with professionalism and a commitment to providing high quality, high capacity services, we can restore that glimmer of light, that ray of hope, that dream for a better tomorrow that is sometimes stolen from our youth by the hardships of life. If we would each commit to helping one person along their journey, then our efforts will not be in vain.

Remember:  Everybody needs a cheerleader. The young people around you need you to motivate them to greatness by encouraging and supporting them. Oh, I have known a few people of uncommon resolve who have made it on their own, but most people who achieve a measure of success in life have had someone who stood with them and supported them.
